Moms vs. Technology
I grew up without a cell phone, without smart TVs, and certainly without Artificial Intelligence. But that didn’t stop my mother from deploying all these skills decades before they were invented.
Moms have a sixth sense like no other. They know when something is wrong even if you aren’t communicating it to them. Their protective mechanisms are more powerful than the Iron Dome. Their processing capabilities faster than IBM’s Watson. Sure, they may lose a chess game or two, but don’t mess with a mother who is advocating for her child.
They know your patterns. They know if you are telling the truth or not – no lie detector needed. Their navigation systems more precise than Apple Air Tags. Sonar detection – don’t even. My mom could hear me tip-toeing through the house as stealth as a cat burglar.
I am grateful for these forces of nature called moms. Maybe I am one myself, even with the aid of technology. But that is not what makes a mother powerful.
Mothers are powerful because they run on love.
And there is nothing more powerful than that.
